Wheat Sheaf, Toronto, ON

After the Battle of York Battleground Tour, Gord and I had an early supper at the Wheat Sheaf (Bathurst/King W).

It seemed appropriate considering the soldiers of Fort York had strolled there for a beer ... the tavern opened over 160 years ago.

I had an Amsterdam draft ... it tasted good!

Gord ordered a swiss burger and fries ... he said it was good.

I'd been craving wings since Tuesday and that's what I'd ordered.  And they were delicious!

Our server took good care of us.

  1. That swiss burger looks awesome. When I was in California last week, I had a burger every single day.....literally.

  2. How did I guess you would order wings? Hehe :)

The Bishop and Belcher on Yonge and Bloor has a wing special every Wednesday. $12 for 3lbs of wings. Not a bad deal. DK works in that building, so we go every now and then when I'm around. You should check it out!
