Little Anthony's, Toronto, ON

I met my pals, Deb, Franca and Liz for supper tonight at Little Anthony's (Richmond W Street/York Street).  I'd never been there before.

We got there when it opened.

We were given some bread and oil to start ... it was good.

I ordered Rigatoni Arrabiata (spicy tomato sauce, smoked bacon, garlic, basil).  It was okay.  It wasn't spicy at all and I didn't notice the bacon.  Some of the noodles weren't quite cooked.  I thought $17.50 was a lot for it.

Deb and Liz ordered Strozzapreti (duck confit, mushrooms, parmigiano).

Franca ordered Linguine al Olio (shrimp, garlic, chili, fresh arugula) and substituted the linguine for rigatoni.

And here we are ... me, Deb, Liz and Franca.  We've been friends since the mid 1990s (we'd worked together).  It was great to get together and catch up.

Here is Hugo, our server.  He took good care of us.

That bread looks awesome. I love restaurants with olive oil to dip bread in!

Your portion looks a tad on the small side to me!

Big prices for small serving, giving how big most portions are in other restaurants. Always nice to get together with old friends over a bite.

I was still kinda hungry when I got home. But it was nice to hang with the girls.
