Long weekend pub crawl, Toronto, ON

Gord and I went on a pub crawl this afternoon that was organized by Ken Woods, owner of Black Oak Brewing Company.

It started at Bellwoods Brewery at Ossington/Queen W, which is in our 'hood.  It opened at 2pm and that's when/where the group met.

There were three tables of us and we got a spot on the patio.  The patio filled up instantly.

I ordered a Twin Peach.  I can't taste or smell anything (because of my cold/infection) but Gord said I'd like it if I could taste it.  Ha!  It was cold so that's all that mattered to me.

Here's Ken, who organized us.

We moved on to Get Well, which is at Dundas W/Ossington ... it opened at 5pm (that's when we arrived).

Gord and I had heard of Get Well but had never been there ... it has a good selection of craft beer.

Gord revealed to me there that he has an addiction to pinball ... he kept sneaking over to play.

This is on the way down to the washrooms.

The women's washroom was lit by red Christmas lights.

After this bar, the group started splitting up to go to different places.  Gord and I headed home.

Thanks for organizing us, Ken!

  2. I love restaurants that have tables set up outside! I always opt to sit outside if there is space.
