Peggy's Corner, King Street W/Bay Street, Toronto, ON

I had read that on Wednesday the Nova Scotia Tourism Agency installed a 28 foot replica of the Peggy's Cove lighthouse downtown.  It is a enticement for people to visit the Peggy's Cove in person this summer.

My doctor's office is a block away so I stopped in afterwards this morning.

If you post your photo with the lighthouse along with the hashtag #peggyscorner between May 15 and June 9, you may win a daily prize of a fresh lobster dinner for two delivered straight from Nova Scotia.

I sat in an Adirondack chair for a while and looked up at the lighthouse.

I'm from Nova Scotia and have been to Peggy's Cove many times ... here's a picture I took the last time I was there (it's a cool spot).

Peggy's Corner will be there for three weeks ... you should go check it out.
