Four Points by Sheraton, London, ON

I had seminars and one-on-ones to conduct yesterday in London and I had to be at the client's site about 8:30am.  It's more than a two hour drive from Toronto so I drove down Tuesday and spent the night.  I stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton.

I like staying there because there are restaurants nearby I can walk to.  Parking, bottled water and WIFI are free.

I had a suite on the second floor.

The bed was comfortable and I had lots of room.

One thing that bugged me was the clock radio was plugged in but wasn't working.  I found a plug where it would work but couldn't figure out how to set the time.  Grrrr!  Plus it was sticky ... ewwww!  I ended up using my cell phone's alarm to wake me up.

I discovered once I was at the client's site that employees also wanted one-on-ones today so I agreed to stay the extra night (last night).  I went back to Sheraton to see if they had a room for me.  They were pretty well booked but I managed to get a supreme king room.  Yay!

It was recently renovated which was great but it smelled like paint.  It's a good thing I had a tealight and cranberry orange fragrance oil to mask the smell.

I loved the alarm clock in this room.  I've been having problems sleeping.  There was a function on the clock that would play nature sounds so I checked it out. Nope, that was kinda annoying. There was another function that played "bedtime beats" so I tried that and liked it. It was soothing piano music. I didn't take long to get to sleep. It must shut itself off after a while. I woke up a couple times during the night and hit the "bedtime beats" button and went back to sleep. Sweet! I"ll have to look for something like that for home.

  1. Just having a nice clean room to come back to is a wonderful thing. I'd take the smell of paint over the smell of mildew any day.

  2. Do you remember the song On The Road Again? I think of it each time I see your work travels. Hope you have a restful weekend.

  3. It's always nice when you're staying in a place where there's a lot of restaurants close by.
