Gord and I are spending a couple days in
Quebec City.
We arrived about noon today and after dropping off our stuff at our hotel (we are staying in Old Quebec City), we set out exploring.
It's a great city to walk around ... there is so much to see! A lot of the buildings are from the 1600s.

There are lots of cannons! Gord thinks he's directing fire. |

This is looking down at
Quartier Petit Champlain ... it is the oldest commercial district in North America. These cruise ship stops in Montreal, Quebec City, Charlottetown, Sydney, Halifax and Boston.
We walked down to Quartier Petit Champlain. It was quite busy.
We sat on the patio of L'Oncle Antoine Pub and had a glass of wine. It was really windy.

Off we went again ...

We took the funiculaire back up to Old Quebec City.

One of the oldest houses in Old Quebec City (now a restaurant) ... we had a drink there |

Its been a few years since I've been. Always find it interesting. Not very many tourists around it seems. At least you didn't have to fight your way through the crowds. Hope the weather holds. Enjoy
SOunds like an awesome day.
