Family reunion - Sunday

On the Sunday mornings of the family reunions everyone gathers for breakfast.  This morning we ate it in the backyard.

This morning it included had bacon, ham, fish cakes, potato hash browns, eggs, fried potatoes, tomatoes, toast, English muffins and juice ...

My breakfast ... yum!

Carson (my aunt Sandra's grandson) and Dave (Sandra's husband) worked off brekkie ...

... before driving around the yard on a four-wheeler.

It looked like fun so I asked if I could try it ... and they let me!!  You brake with your left hand and you give it gas with your right thumb.  I had a hard time getting used to using my thumb to make it go ... I did a lot of jolting and stopping.  And even the slightest hills freaked me out and I was afraid for tipping over ... so I reversed a lot rather than barreling up a small hill.  It was scary but fun!

Jolting!
Reversing!
Even this small hill freaked me out!

Dave took me for a drive to show me how it's done!  It was a fun ride!

Here is Sandra with her grandson, Gavin.

Here is everyone just before Gord and I left and headed for home ...

It was fun to spend the weekend with the family and catch up!  Thanks to Sandra and Dave for their hospitality!
