Toronto Blue Jays 4, Boston Red Sox 3

Gord and I attended the opening party at Bacardi At The Park at Rogers Centre this evening ... and thanks to them we were able to stay on to watch the game (they gave free tix to anyone who wanted to stay).  The Toronto Blue Jays were playing the Boston Red Sox.

John McDermitt sang the national anthems.

Here's the view of the field from our seats, which were just below Bacardi in the Park.

Here's Gord enjoying a Bacardi spiced rum and cola cooler we got at Bacardi At The Park.

With the first pitch, the game began.

Esmil Rogers - the birthday boy!

The Blue Jays line-up at bat ...

José Reyes
Rajai Davis
José Bautista
Edwin Encarnación
Brett Lawrie
Mark DeRosa
J. P. Arencibia
Kevin Pillar - a Blue Jay as of today
Crowd favourite Munenori Kawasaki

Here are Gord and I.

We had a great view of the CN Tower.

The red dots are people doing the EdgeWalk ... eeek!

There was a good crowd ...

Ace entertained ...

The prize for the 50/50 draw was almost $5000!

Alas, we weren't even close :(

Lots of discussions on the pitcher's mound.

And the Blue Jays waited and stretched ...

In the tenth inning, the Blue Jays won 4 - 3 ... whoohoo!

It was a fun game ... great to see the Blue Jays win!  Thanks again to Bacardi At The Park for the tickets!
