The first one each day is at 7am so rather than driving from Toronto (more than an hour away without traffic or snow), I stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Brantford which is halfway between each client site.
It was kind of out in the middle of nowhere ... you have to drive to get to a restaurant.
Here's my room ... it was huge!
I spent the extra $10 a night for a jacuzzi in my room |

Of course, I used the tub! |
Last evening there was a reception ... free appies and drinks from 6pm to 8pm. It happens Monday to Thursday evenings. I checked it out. They set out bottles of wine, beer and pop along with veggies, chicken wings and pepperoni pizza (which I'm assuming they ordered from a nearby pizza place) and you helped yourself. I had enough wings and pizza that I didn't need to have supper (I'd had a big lunch earlier).
I liked the hotel, my room and the friendliness of the staff but I found it was a bit too isolated.
I don't like being in isolated places, either, but the room does look nice.
ReplyDeletethis looks really rural!! i haven't been in a hotel room for so long...do they have flatscreens now? I just got one last year! and that tub, is like a dream!!
