Our new couch

When I moved into our condo in June 2001, I bought a new couch.

In the last couple of years, it's been showing its age ... kitties scratching it in places, the springs in the corners where Gord and I sit sagging, etc.

We've been talking for the last year about buying a new one but time got away from us.  Last month we shopped around and tried out a bunch.  We found one we liked at the Brick.

I ordered it last week and it was delivered this afternoon ... whoohoo!

It looks like Morgan approves!

They called this morning about 8:30am and said it would be here between 1pm and 4pm ... so we hauled our old couch to the garbage area around 12:30pm.  It arrived at 1:11pm!

It's a good thing I ordered it last week ... the sale is over and it's now $300 more!
