Sunnyside Beach, Toronto, ON

I went to Sunnyside Beach (about a ten minute drive SW of us) on Wednesday afternoon ... and it started raining five minutes after I got there.  Boo!

It was sunny and -1C (-7C with the windchill) this afternoon and Gord and I headed to Sunnyside Beach.

Looking eastward towards downtown ...

Looking westward ...

We watched the birds for a while ...

It looked like he was walking on water but was on clear ice

We walked westward along Martin Goodman Trail ... the boardwalk was icy and slippery in many places.

I hadn't even considered it!

We walked to Humber Bay Arch Bridge and crossed it.

Sheldon Lookout Park was our turnaround point.

We headed back over the bridge ...

There were lots of love locks.

Heading eastward after the bridge ...

As slippery as it was walking, I was amazed that these two tried to bike on the boardwalk (there was a cleared bike path just north and they shouldn't have been there anyway).

 Almost to the car ...

It was definitely a better walk today than on Wednesday!  Great crisp chilly day to be outside!
