Toronto Rock 20, Philadelphia Wings 10

The third Toronto Rock home game of the season was tonight and Gord and I were there (we have season's tickets this year).  The Rock is a professional lacrosse franchise in the National Lacrosse League (NLL).

They were playing the Philadelphia Wings.

It was Garrett Billings bobblehead night.  The Rock cheerleaders gave them out to the first 5,000 fans ... we got there early enough to get one.  Yay!

The Rock huddled to get psyched.

And the game began ...

Do you think they are fans?

After the first quarter, Toronto was winning 3 - 1.  Yay!

The Rock cheerleaders entertained in the second quarter.

We have friendly enthusiastic fans sitting in front of us (they are one of the reasons we bought the season's tickets in this section).

After the second quarter, Toronto was winning 11 - 5.  Yippee!

Iggy entertained the crowd during the game.

The Rock cheerleaders entertained again.

The attendance for tonight's game was just over 9,000.

After the third quarter, Toronto was winning 16 - 8.  Whoohoo!

Iggy came back out again.

Toronto won 20 - 10 ... yes!!

The Rock players congratulated each other.

Then they shook hands with the Wings.

The fans in front of us cheered the Rock!

As always, the Rock players thanked their fans.

The three stars of the game were all Rock players.

Here is Garrett Billings getting interviewed after the game.

Another great game!  Unlike last week's game, there wasn't any fighting.

Go Rock, go!
