Belated Christmas celebration with Gord's family

Gord and I, along with his son, Ken, were supposed to celebrate Christmas with Gord's family one weekend in December ... his family live about a 2.5 hour drive NE of us, north of Belleville.  But there was a snowstorm that weekend and we didn't go.

Gord and I drove there today (Ken couldn't make it).  Everyone gathered at Judy and Doug's (Gord's sister and her husband) and that's where Gord and I spent the night (we'll drive home tomorrow).  Minnie (Gord and Judy's mom) and Keith (their step-dad) were there ... they don't live too far from Judy and Doug.  Judy and Doug's son, Kyle, and his wife, Kerri, and their kids, Madison and Colton, live just the road from Judy and Doug and were there too.

Supper was delicious and there was lots to choose from ... ham, venison, scalloped potatoes, corn, pickles, cheese, rolls and homemade pies (lemon meringue, which is my favourite, and blueberry).

Judy and Doug love animals and have three dogs (Andy, Sheba and Jake) and a cat (Chelsea).

As always, it was great to see everyone and catch up!
