Best Western Brant Park Inn and Conference Centre, Brantford, ON

I have a full day of one-on-ones to conduct today for a client in Brantford.  Since they start at 8am and it's a 1.5 hour drive from Toronto, I drove down last night and spent the night at the Best Western Brant Park Inn and Conference Centre.

The staff was friendly when I checked in
Reception

I had requested at king bed and was given a suite in the Walter Gretzky wing (Wayne's father).  As a matter of fact, I had to pass by Walter on my way back from supper at Kirby's, the restaurant in the hotel ... he was chatting with six men in the hallway on the main floor of his wing.

Here's my suite ...

A big big bed just for me!  It was comfy!

The cost was $139.99 (plus taxes, etc.) a night.

Parking was free as was WIFI (it was fast).  There is a mini fridge and microwave in the room.  A complementary continental breakfast buffet was included ... for $5 more you can upgrade to a hot buffet breakfast.

I'd stay here again.

  2. I ducked in to check out breakfast and grabbed a muffin to go. There were pastries, cereals, bacon, sausages, etc. If you wanted to have an egg cooked, etc. it was an extra $5.

  4. Free wifi is big for me. I can't even believe some places still charge for it.
