Cloud 9 Restaurant & Lounge, Vancouver, BC

I have a couple seminars and one-on-ones to conduct on Monday in Vancouver and I arrived this afternoon.  I had supper tonight with my brother, Lance, and his wife, Mei, who live here.

We went to Cloud 9 Restaurant & Lounge, which is a revolving restaurant 42 floors high in the Empire Landmark Hotel on Robson Street.  It takes an hour and 20 minutes to do one rotation (we went around twice).

Lesley, our server, brought us rolls.

I had the Penne with Spicy Chorizo in a rosé sauce rather than the mushroom sauce ... it was good!  I would get it again.

Mei and Lance both ordered the fixed meal deal.  They started with a salad.

Mei ordered Prime Rib as her main.  It looked good and she said it was.

Lance ordered Fettucini with Chorizo and Tiger Prawns.  He said it was good.

They finished with Tiramisu.

And here we are ...

Though the restaurant closed at 10pm, the lounge remained open.  What a nice spot to have a drink and see the city!

This is Mei and Lance's special occasion spot and I can see why.  It's a lovely place to have supper as the meals are a bit fancier and the views are spectacular.

Lesley was our server and she took good care of us.
