The Olde Angel Inn, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON

Gord and I had an early supper today at the pub in the Olde Angel Inn, which was established in 1789 and rebuilt in 1815 after the War of 1812.

We got there just before the supper rush and it got busy.

They had an interesting selection of craft beer.

I ordered an Angel Inn lager (it's brewed by Amsterdam Brewing in Toronto).

Yum!

Gord ordered fish and chips and said it was good.

I ordered a turkey club sandwich (minus the lettuce) and it was good too.  The bun was soft, which I like.  The fries were delicious.

Look at the size of my sandwich!

We went back about midnight and Ear Candy was playing to a packed crowd. They played cover tunes and were good.
