Here's my room ...
There was a separate bedroom, which had no window.
There was a mini fridge and microwave oven |
The bed was comfy and the bedroom was quiet |
The bathroom ...
I used the tub both nights |
The stand was really wide and it was hard to get close to the mirror to put on make-up |
My rate averaged $160 a night and included parking. WIFI was free as was a continental breakfast. Here is the breakfast room.
It was within walking distance to downtown.
When I checked in on Monday night, I was surprised to discover that they only had a reservation for me for Monday and last night .... I'm sure I had reserved it with a check-out for tomorrow morning. Holiday Inn doesn't send a confirmation email so I can't check to see who made the mistake (why ask me for my email address??!!). I was told that my room was reserved for someone else tonight and I'd have to pack up and move to another room today. Since my other client who I'm seeing tomorrow is at the other side of town, I made reservations at a hotel closer to that client instead. When I checked out this morning, the receptionist said that there was no need for me to move rooms. She didn't know what I was talking about when I told her I was told I'd have to change rooms. It would have been nice to have been informed that I could have stayed in my room after all.
