Best Western Lamplighter Inn & Conference Centre, London, ON

I have a seminar and one-on-ones to conduct today for a client in London so I drove down yesterday and spent the night at the Best Western Lamplighter Inn & Conference Centre.

Reception area

Here was my king room ...

My bed was comfy!

The bathroom was split into two rooms.  The toilet, shower and bathtub were in one room.

The sink was across the way with the coffee maker, ironing board, safe, etc.

My room was on the ground floor, below ground level.  I'm not crazy about being on the ground level since when I open the blinds, anyone can look in.

There was a games room right around the corner from my room.

The pool was just around the corner from that.  There was a waterfall under the pool, which I could hear from my room ... it was never turned off.

The smell of chlorine in the hotel and my room was really strong.  I always travel with a scented candle so it took care of it.

Seating area by the pool ... there was a bar (it was closed)
Balconies from rooms overlooked the pool ... I'm glad mine didn't
(I didn't have a balcony)

My room was $157 for the night (including taxes).  Parking and WIFI were free.  There was a mini fridge in my room.  According to the clock radio, it was always AM ... I couldn't figure out how to set the time to make sure it was PM so used my cell phone instead.

I had supper last night at Shelly's Tap & Grill, which is attached to the hotel.  The mall along with lots of restaurants are just down the street.
