Bâton Rouge Steakhouse & Bar, Ottawa, ON

I had lunch today at Bâton Rouge (on Albert Street).


I ordered the Chicken Tenders Platter with garlic mashed potatoes and honey mustard dipping sauce.  I've had them lots of times before (in Toronto and Montreal) and like them.


When the plate arrived, I thought, "WOW!" because they looked amazing.


But then I discovered that there was very little chicken and a LOT of batter.

Plus the potatoes were piping hot and the chicken was barely warm.  I was definitely disappointed :(

Erron was my server and he took good care of me.

The batter is my favorite part, so I would have been ok with that.
