Sister Sarah lives in Halifax and the closest IKEA to her is in Montreal ... visiting one here was on her list of things to do. So we went to the one in Etobicoke this afternoon.
Before we went touring through the store, we had lunch in their restaurant (I haven't eaten in their restaurant before). It was quite busy.
We both had Swedish meatballs (there were 10 to an order) and mashed potatoes.
Surprisingly it wasn't bad. With a pop (refillable for free), it came to $7.90 (including taxes). I think the red stuff was supposed to be cranberry sauce ... it was more like a sweet jam. The pop was really really warm so needed lots of ice.
I'd eat there again if I was at their store and hungry.

I think Ligonberrys - they are from Sweden
We can't get near our Ikea. We only have one in the area and it's ALWAYS packed.
Thanks, LeeAnn!
Mommy: IKEA is crazy busy on the weekends and I don't go near it!
