Levetto, Toronto, ON

Gord and I noticed that Levetto opened recently in our 'hood at Dovercourt/Queen W (this is their fourth location) and we checked it out this evening for supper.

Pizzas come in three sizes ... small, medium and large ...
and you can get them to go

We had some wine ... the glasses were funky!

Gord and I both ordered medium pizzas ... I got Soppressata and Gord got Affumicato.

There's Bariel making our pizzas.

Thanks, Bariel!

Here is my spicy Soppressata pizza.  It was delicious and I would get it again.  The first thing I noticed was that the tomatoes in the sauce tasted really fresh.  The meat was a bit spicy but I was okay with that.

Here's Gord's Affumicato pizza.  He said it was fresh and tasty and he loved the crust.  He would get it again.

Look at all that bacon!

There was too much and we took some home ... lunch tomorrow!

Ashley, our server/hostess, treated us to a piece of Panna Cotta to share.  The crumpled amaretto cookies and berry compote matched well with the cinnamon-flavoured Panna Cotta on the bottom.

Ashley took excellent care of us.  Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Levetto is minutes from where we live.  It goes without saying that we'll be back!

That pizza looks pretty skimpy on the cheese.....the cheese is the best part.

Given the style of the pizza, there was enough cheese, Mommy.
