Days Inn, Steinbach, MB

This morning I have a 10am meeting about two hours east Steinbach (which is about 45 minutes SE of Winnipeg) so I stayed at the Days Inn in Steinbach.  It is apparently the closest "most decent" place to stay to where I have to be.

Here was my room ...

It was nothing fancy but it was comfy ($110/night).  I had two queen beds and I slept well.  There was a minifridge, microwave oven and a Keurig coffee maker (along with two coffee K-cups and a tea K-up) in the room.  WIFI was free ... it wasn't overly quick, though, at times.  Parking was free and self-park in the parking lot.  A continental breakfast (bagels, boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, etc.) was included.  From 5pm to 8pm last night, they served free soup.

There was no restaurant in the hotel, though there is a Pizza Hut about a block away.  There are other restaurants within driving distance.  There is a mall a couple blocks away as is the Automobile City Monument.
