Toronto Maple Leafs 2 - Washington Capitals 6

The company I work for had a box at the Toronto Maple Leafs game tonight and I was there ... the Washington Capitals were in town.  It was their first game since firing their manager a couple days ago.

Here are the Maple Leafs warming up.

The light show before the game was cool!

Robby Fabbri and Max Domi, who were on Canada's winning World Junior Ice Hockey Championship team were there for the ceremonial drop of the puck.  Of course, the crowd went crazy!

The national anthems were sung.

They played Canada's World Junior Ice Hockey Championship team singing the Canadian anthem.

The Canadian and Toronto Maple Leafs flag were passed throughout the crowd.

And the game began ...

It was a bit of a scrappy game.

At the end of the first period, Toronto was losing.

More scrapping in the second period.

Alas, the Leafs were still losing at the end of the second period.

Here's a selfie at the game ...

And here's me and my colleague, Stacey.

The prize of the 50/50 was almost $16,000!  Sweet!!

Alas, I didn't win it :(

The Leafs lost 6 - 2.

The Leafs didn't take long to leave the ice.

Not surprisingly, the Capitals were more happy.

Here are the three stars of the game.
