Toronto Rock 13, Buffalo Bandits 11

Gord and I are season ticket holders for the Toronto Rock lacrosse team games ... the Rock is a professional lacrosse franchise in the National Lacrosse League (NLL).  This is our third year going to the games and our second year having seasons tickets.

Tonight was their first home game of the 2015 season (they won their first two away games) and they were playing the Buffalo Bandits.

The Rock were introduced player-by-player and formed a "T".

Terry Sanderson was the general manager of the Rock and he passed away in November ... there was a tribute to him before the game.

A moment of silence

Scotty Newlands is back and sang the national anthems.

The Rock huddled before the game to get psyched.

And the game began ...

These fans always sit across from us.

We've been sitting with the same fans the last four years.

Tim and Gillian always wave their flag when the Rock score
... and there is a round of high fives

At the end of the first quarter, the game was tied 3 - 3.

The Rock Cheerleaders entertained in the second quarter.

Iggy, the Rock's mascot, spent some time in our section.

Showing off his abs!
Iggy has a lot of fans!

At the end of the second quarter, the Rock were down 5 - 7.  Oh oh!

Here are Gord and I.

The Rock huddled to get psyched at the beginning of the third quarter.

Thankfully Tim and Gillian were able to cheer again for the Rock.  Yay!

The Rock Cheerleaders entertained again.

At end of the third quarter, the score was tied 9 - 9.

The attendance at tonight's game was over 11,000.

More reasons to cheer! Yay!

Iggy encouraged the crowd to make some noise for the boys!

It worked because the Rock won 13 - 11.  Yay!!!
