Toronto Food + Drink Market, Toronto, ON

Gord and I went to the Toronto Food + Drink Market this afternoon at the Direct Energy Centre.

We walked up and down the aisle checking out the booths.  There are lots of the booths giving out free samples of food and drinks.  If you liked what you tried, you could buy it.

The strawberry chocolate walnuts were tasty
Their salad dressing was delicious
This was good mustard
You could buy oysters
I liked their simply honey garlic sauce
Garlic mint sounds like a weird combo but it worked
Birthday cake and chocolate popcorn
This paste had a kick at the end
Gord bought a machine that carbonates water
(he loves carbonated water)
Lots of food trucks if you got hungry
SPAM!
We got a sample bag of cat food ... Morgan and Crumpet will be happy
tru dat!
Free samples of pizza

There were cooking and health seminars.

Susur Lee's session was filled

Then we walked around and sampled some adult drinks ... tickets were $1 each and most samples were a ticket.  It was all delicious!

Sweeney was fun
Thanks, Dean!
Who doesn't love bubbly?

Michael Motamedi, currently a contestant on Master Chef Canada, was walking around the show.  I approached him and said hello and wished him good luck.

It was a fun show with lots to see and try and I look forward to going again next year.
