Toronto Rock 15, New England Black Wolves 12

Gord and I are season ticket holders for the Toronto Rock lacrosse team games ... the Rock is a professional lacrosse franchise in the National Lacrosse League (NLL).  This is our third year going to the games and our second year having seasons tickets.

Going into tonight's game, they were in first place (12 - 4) and were playing the New England Black Wolves. This was the Rock's last home game.

As usual, Scotty Newlands sang the national anthems.

The Rock huddled to get psyched.

And the game began ...

The red wigged guys always sit across from us.

Tim and Gillian sit in front of us are also season ticket holders and cheered the Rock's first goal.

About 20 pizza slices were delivered to a row below us.

At the end of the first quarter, the Rock were winning 3 - 2.

The Toronto Rock Cheerleaders entertained in the second quarter.

It was a bit of a scrappy game ... there were two fights.

At the end of the second quarter, the Rock were winning 5 - 4.

The Rock player huddled to get psyched at the beginning of the third quarter.

Iggy worked the crowd throughout the night.

 The Rock Cheerleaders entertained again.

At the end of the third quarter, the Rock were winning 10 - 7.

The attendance for tonight's game just over 9,000.

The prize for the 50/50 draw was just over $4,000.

Alas, we didn't win it :(

The Rock won 15 - 12.  Yay!

The Rock player congratulated each other and then the players on other team.

The Rock players thanked the fans with Sandy Chapman saying a few words.

The top three players were Rock players.

Brandon Miller, the #1 player of the game, we interviewed after the game.

Included with our season's tickets was the first playoff ticket at home, which should be in about a month.  Looking forward to it!
