Tavern United, Winnipeg, MB (downtown)

For supper tonight, my colleague, Glenn, and I went to Tavern United on Hargrave Street.

The special tonight was buy a burger combo and get the second one for $1.  What a deal!  Glenn had been craving a burger so we took advantage of it and we both ordered the Tavern Ultimate Double-Smashed Cheeseburger with pulled pork.

Glenn got his with everything.  Instead of fries or a salad, he got poutine.  He said it was the best burger ever and would get it again!

He found the poutine a bit salty

Even though I got mine without cheese, onions and lettuce, it was still a substantial burger!

I got mine with fries and side of gravy ... both were good!

It was a messy delicious burger ... can you tell that Glenn enjoyed his?!

I'd go back!

Carmen was our server and she took good care of us.
