Waterfront Trail, Toronto, ON

Today was a warm sunny day so Gord and I went for a long walk.

We took the Queen streetcar to Park Lawn Road and headed for home ... we ended up walking 6.5km/4 miles.

We briefly headed west to check out this bridge.

Looking north ...

Looking south ...

Then we headed east ...

She was doing yoga and stretching
Palace Pier was an amusement pier opened in 1941
We crossed over Humber Bay Bridge
I always find the love locks interesting
A swan bum!
The ducklings were so cute!
This dog had the right idea to cool off
Good luck, Kid!
No one was in the water so this had to be a boring job today
We had a late supper at Sunnyside Pavilion Café
In 1954, this is where Marilyn Bell ended up when
she was the first person to swim across Lake Ontario

We went up the overpass and headed for home.

After a couple days of crazy rain, it was so nice to be able to get outside and have such a nice walk.

Looks like a really good walk! I hope the sun comes back to Ottawa soon so we can enjoy it too.

Love walking along the trail Some great pics, but what is up with all those random locks I wonder?

They are love locks, Sue ... an expression of a couple's love for each other.
