Here was my room ...

Here's the view from my window ...
My room was $214/night plus tax. It had a mini fridge, toaster, Keurog coffee maker, kettle, microwave (it came in handy since I'd brought popcorn) , dishware, cutlery and satellite TV. I had rented a car for a couple days and parking was free. WIFI was complementary and at the best of times it wasn't all that speedy ... emailing larger attachments wasn't possible and some websites wouldn't load up.
Iqaluit isn't that big and the restaurants, grocery store and even the airport are all within walking distance (the airport is a ten minute walk away). Cabs are plentiful and are $7 cash. As a head's up, they sometimes pick up other passengers along the way so sometimes you are sharing you cab (this happened to me twice). I came up a day early and rented a car for the first two days so I could tour around (it was $135/day).
There are two restaurants on site ... the Water's Edge (fine dining and supper was just okay but my breakfast this morning was good) and the Kickin' Caribou Pub (I ate there twice and had two excellent meals).
The room is dated and could use some freshening up. There was paint peeling, a white patch on the bathroom door and the furniture was scuffed up.
I'd stay here again since it was so central.
