Canoe Landing Park, Toronto, ON

After some taunting from the parks department of Arlington, home of the Texas Rangers, because the Rangers had been leading the ALDS series against the Blue Jays two games to none, the artificial turf at the Canoe Landing Park had a giant Toronto Blue Jays logo painted on it on Saturday.

Gord and I took a walk to the park (about 2.5km) to check it out this afternoon.

We stopped first at Tom Thomson's Canoe, completed by Doug Coupland in 2009.

Then we headed to the logo.

Good to see people playing ball on it!

Toronto has Jays fever!  Go Blue Jays, go!
