The cottage theme inside was fun |
They only serve craft beer (ie no big beer companies).
The Gosebuster by Liberty Village Brewing Co. was good!
The salt and pepper shakers were fun!
Gord and I both got meat pies, something we never order in a restaurant.
I ordered the Traditional Beef Pie and it was delicious. I would definitely get it again. The fries were freshly cut.
Gord ordered the Aussie Import, which he said was delicious, along with a kale salad. He'd get it again.
So colourful! |
The bathrooms were interesting.
The sign at the bottom of the stairs keeps with the theme |
The sink is in the hallway and shared by ladies and men |
There's no door on the men's washroom so I could see in |
Signs in the ladies' washroom |
There was a fun vibe in the Lodge. The only thing I found a bit of a conflict was the music. When we got there, the tunes were Motownish. Then they switched to 80s. Then they switched to reggae, which was really out of place for a "cottage".
Phil (one of the owners) and Trish were friendly and took good care of us.
