Emile's Pub and Eatery, Stephenville, NL

I had supper this evening at Emile's Pub and Eatery ... it is in the Days Inn, which is attached to the mall.

I ordered lasagna.  It was good and freshly baked just for me.

The two servers were friendly.  When it came time to get my bill and leave, though, they'd disappeared.  I waited at my table for a while and then waited at the bar.  I could hear one in the room with the VLTs (gambling machines).  Just as I was ready to walk out, the other one came in from the kitchen.

Wednesday, January 20

It was storming so I didn't want to go too far for supper so I went to Emile's again.

I had wings with honey garlic sauce and lattice fries.  It was really good.  There was a lot and I left most of my fries and all of my carrots.

There were different servers this evening from last night and they were friendly.  They just weren't overly quick or attentive.  At one point, my glass was empty and I put it at the end of the table to catch their attention that I wanted another.  Fourteen minutes later I still didn't have a drink.  One of the servers was giving the two guys at the table next to me extra special attention all evening so I flagged her down as she went past for another drink.
