Toronto Rock 10, New England Black Wolves 14, ACC, Toronto, ON

Gord and I are season ticket holders for the Toronto Rock lacrosse team games ... the Rock is a professional lacrosse franchise in the National Lacrosse League (NLL).  This is our fourth year going to the games and our third year having seasons tickets.

It was the second last season game and The Rock were playing the New England Black Wolves.

Going into tonight's game, Toronto was at the bottom of the standings in the east division and New England was in second place.

Despite being at the bottom of the east division, the Rock has a leading goaltender leader on their team.

As usual, Scotty Newlands sang the national anthems.

The Rock huddled to get psyched.

 And the game began ...

Tim and Gillian are also season ticket holders and sit in front of us.   They were excited when the Rock scored the first goal.

This guy is a new vendor in our section this year and he's always smiling!

Four of the red-wigged guys who sit across from us were there (though one was a new one).

At the end of the first period, the Rock were losing 4 - 3.

The Rock Cheerleaders entertained in the second quarter.

The goalies had their equipment measured.

Gord's birthday was last week and the Rock wished him a happy birthday!

Iggy, the Rock mascot, worked the crowd ... everyone loves Iggy!

At the end of the second period, the Rock were losing 8 - 4.

The Rock huddled at the beginning of the third period to get psyched.

The Rock Cheerleaders entertained again.

At the end of the third quarter, the Rock were losing 10 - 6.

The prize for the 50/50 draw was almost $8,600.

Alas, we didn't win it.

I don't know what this guy did but Security and the police went to him and escorted him out.

The final score was 14 - 10 for the Black Wolves.  It doesn't look good for the Rock making the playoffs.

The Rock players supported each other after the game.

Despite the loss,  Tim and Gilliam showed their appreciation of the Rock players.

The players shook hands after the game.

The Rock players thanked their fans.

Rock Brodie Merrill was one of the top three stars of the game.
