They were playing the Buffalo Bandits tonight in their last home game of the season.
We got there early enough to watch the Rock warm up.
Going into tonight's game, the Rock was 4 - 10 and had the second worst record in the league.
They did have a top five scoring leader on their team (Rob Hellyer).
And a top five goaltender (Nick Rose).
Scotty Newlands sang the American national anthem.
The UCC Prep School Grade 6 and 7 Music Ensemble sang the Canadian national anthem.
Rock player Brodie Merrill was presented with an award by Rock head coach John Lovell.
And the game began ...
When the Rock scored their first goal, Tim and Gillian, season's ticket holders who sit in front of us, were happy.
There were a few Buffalo fans sitting a couple rows in front of us. They were happy when the Bandits scored their first goal.
At the end of the first quarter, the score was 3 - 3.
The Toronto Rock Cheerleaders entertained in the second period.
The goalies had their equipment measured while the cheerleaders entertained.
The red-wigged guys who always sit across from us were there.
At the end of the second quarter, the Bandits were winning 7 - 5.
The Rock huddled at the beginning of to get psyched.
The third quarter started ...
Five second later, Rock Brock Sorenson was down with a knee injury and left the game.
The Rock Cheerleaders entertained again.

The prize for the 50/50 draw was over $6,500!
Alas, we didn't win it.
The attendance for tonight's game was over 9,200.
The Rock won 12 - 9. Whoohoo!
Tim and Gillian were happy and showed their support.
The Rock players congratulated each other.
The Rock and Bandits players shook hands.
The three stars of the game were all Rock players.
Rock goalie Nick Rose (ROSIE!!) thanked the fans for their support.
Captain Josh Sanderson led the victory lap and thanked the fans.
It was a good game ... the energy was electric!
Fingers crossed they are able to make it into the playoffs!
