The Hollis Halifax - a Double Tree Suites by Hilton Hotel, Halifax, NS

My home away from home in Halifax from Sunday until this morning was the Hollis Halifax - a Double Tree Suites by Hilton Hotel on Hollis Street.

I had a one bedroom suite.  Here it was ...

The king bed was comfy!

The water pressure in the shower wasn't very strong

WIFI was complimentary and it was speedy.  There was a microwave oven and mini-fridge.  Parking was $20 to self-park ($25 to valet parking) in a lot across the street.  A continental breakfast, which had cereal, bagels, scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, fruit, muffins, was included.

The hotel is within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and pubs, the waterfront, Citadel Hill, etc.  There is a lounge in the lobby and a steakhouse on the lower level but I didn't check them out.

I would stay here again.
