The Wheat Sheaf, Toronto, ON

My pal, Shawna, is in town (she moved to Regina a few years ago).  Gord and I met her at the Wheat Sheaf Tavern (King Street W/Bathurst), which is one of Toronto's oldest pubs (it opened around 1850), for supper this evening.  It's become a tradition when she comes to town.

We took advantage of their 1/2 price wings deal on Mondays (and Sundays and Tuesdays).  I got mine with medium sauce and swapped the blue cheese for ranch.  They were HUGE and really good.

It was great to see Shawna and catch up.  Here we are ...

Allison was our server.  She was friendly and took good care of us.
