The Toronto Argonotes, the Argos' official band, played enthusiastically outside the stadium before the game.
We paused as we walked to our seats to watch the Argos warm up.
Today is Thanksgiving Day in Canada.
There was a ceremony before the game honouring former Argo players Michael "Pinball" Clemons, Rodney Harding and Derrell "Mookie" Mitchell.
Calgary is at the top of the standings in the west.
Toronto is second from the bottom of the standings in the east.
The Argo Cheerleaders welcomed the Argos players.

The Argos huddled before the game started.
Rachel Guthrie sang the national anthem.
A fella named Bruce (he's in pink and white) won a contest at the tailgate party beforehand to do the coin toss.
Our seats were in the first level, just to the left of centre field.
The Argos Cheerleaders entertained a few times.
The Argos team were to the left of us. The therapists were kept busy.
We went for a walk at half-time and ran into Craig, Gord's friend and colleague. He'd worked today and had just gotten to the game.
It was fun to get different perspectives of the field.
Here's the view from the south end of the stadium looking towards downtown.
We spent the second half sitting in the corner where the Argonotes were. BMO Field seats about 30,000 and it was half full ... so lots of empty seats.

Here are Gord and I.
The 50/50 draw was almost $5,700.
Alas, we didn't win it.
