Hilton Garden Inn Montreal Centre-Ville, Montreal, QC

The company I work for is based in Quebec and we had a work function yesterday.  I spent last night at the Hilton Garden Inn on Sherbrooke Street W.

Here was my room ...

The bed was comfy

My room had a microwave oven, a Keurig coffee machine, a safe (in the closet) and a mini fridge (which I always appreciate as I drink a lot of water).

WIFI was complimentary but I found it slow and unreliable (it kept cutting out).  Sometimes I couldn't find it on the list so I ended up using my phone as a hotspot instead.  As such, I couldn't access work emails or get work done.

I found the temperature of the room inconsistent also.  I usually have the temperature set at 21C but found it was chilly last night in my room so I turned it up higher (finally to 26C) but it never got warmer.  The fan was blowing but it seemed like it was cool air.  And there was no extra blanket in the closet or drawers.

There is a rooftop pool and fitness room but I didn't get a chance to check them out.  There are a couple restaurants in the lobby ... it is downtown so walkable to shopping, restaurants, etc.

There are taxis waiting outside under the awning which was handy as I had to head to the airport.
