La Place Rendez-Vous, Fort Frances, ON

I have a client meeting this morning in Fort Frances (in Northern Ontario ... it took me two planes and four flying hours to get here yesterday).  I spent last night at La Place Rendez-Vous.

Here was my room ...

The outlets behind the desk didn't work and there were
none available behind the TV so I set up my laptop at the
table by the window, which gave me a nicer view

There was a balcony off my room and the view of Rainy Lake was lovely as the sun went down.

I took a walk around the back of the property.

It was pretty to watch the sun come up this morning.

Parking and WIFI were free.  There was a mini fridge and coffee maker in the room.  There is a restaurant/lounge in the hotel.  Downtown and other restaurants are a ten minute drive away.

I bet this is a fun place in the summer time when it's warm enough to use the beach and sit outside.
