Toronto Rock 8, Rochester Knighthawks 9, Air Canada Centre, Toronto, ON

Gord and I are season ticket holders for the Toronto Rock lacrosse team games ... the Rock is a professional lacrosse franchise in the National Lacrosse League (NLL).  This is our fifth year going to the games and our fourth year having seasons tickets.

They were playing the Rochester Knighthawks tonight in their second home game of the 2017 season (they won their first two games).

Scotty Newlands sang the national anthems.

The Rock huddled to get psyched.

 And the game began ...

They were having lighting problems at the Air Canada Centre so while they tried to figure it out, Iggy, the Rock mascot, got the crowd going.

Here's the view from our seats.

Rochester score three goals really quickly.  When the Rock scored their first goal, Tim and Gillian, season's ticket holders who sit in front of us, were happy.

The score after the first quarter was 3 - 2 for Rochester.

The Rock Cheerleaders entertained in the second quarter.

The red-wigged guys who always sit across from us were there.

The score at the end of the first half was 7 - 4 for Rochester.

Here are Gord and I in our new Rock shirts (we've both lost some weight so our shirts from last year were too big).

The Rock players huddled at the beginning of the third quarter to get psyched.

The Rock Cheerleaders entertained again.

The score after the third quarter was 8 - 5 for Rochester.

The prize for the 50/50 draw was just over $9,000.

Alas, we didn't win :(

Iggy worked the fans on our side and showed off his abs.

The attendance at tonight's game was almost 11,000.

Though the Rock came on strong in the last quarter, they lost 9 - 8.

The players shook hands afterwards.

The Rock players thanked their fans were coming out.

Tim and Gillian showed their appreciation to the Rock players.
