Liberty Commons at Big Rock Brewery, Toronto, ON

Gord and I had supper this evening at Liberty Commons in Liberty Village ... it opened just five days ago.

Big Rock has a beer store if you want to pop in and buy their beer (they make a couple onsite).

We were seated downstairs in the dining room.

The Barrel Room is available for parties.

I liked their lager.

On the way to the bathroom, I passed by the brew room.

Brewmaster Connor noticed my interest and invited me in.  We had a nice chat about the beers they brew.

Gord started with a Scotch Egg.  He loves Scotch Eggs and said it was very good and he can't wait to get it again.

I ordered Jerk Chicken.  It was really good and I'd get it again.  The sauce had a bit of a kick and the chicken was tender and moist.

Gord ordered Beef Brisket.  He said it was really good.  I tried a piece and the beef was really tender and I liked the smokey taste.

Gord loves rice pudding and ordered some for dessert.  I had a couple spoonfuls and it was fun.

Sarah was our server and she took good care of us.

We'll be back!
