Toronto Rock 18, Buffalo Bandits 10, Air Canada Centre, Toronto, ON

Gord and I are season ticket holders for the Toronto Rock lacrosse team games ... the Rock is a professional lacrosse franchise in the National Lacrosse League (NLL).  This is our fifth year going to the games and our fourth year having seasons tickets.

They were playing the Buffalo Bandits tonight.

Tonight there was a theme and it was Country Night.  There were games where you could win a prize.

We watched the Rock warm up.

Before the game, the Rock was in second place in the East Division, with two wins and one loss.

The Rock's goalie, Nick Rose, is the league's leading goalie.

Scotty Newlands sang the national anthems.

The Rock players huddled to get psyched.

 And the game began ...

Here's the view from our seats.

The Rock scored first goal and Tim and Gillian, season's ticket holders who sit in front of us, were happy.

At the end of the first quarter, the Rock were winning 5 -2.

Iggy, the Rock mascot, got into the spirit of Country Night.

The Rock Cheerleaders dressed for the theme and entertained.

At the end of the second quarter, the Rock were winning 10 - 4.

Here are me and Gord.

The Abrams played during the Boots and Hearts halftime show,

Iggy showed us some of his fancy steps.

The Rock Cheerleaders entertained again.

At the end of the third quarter, the Rock were winning 13 - 6.

The prize for the 50/50 draw was just over $7,000.

Alas, we didn't win.

The Rock won the game 18 - 10.  A very exciting fun game!

The players shook hands afterwards.

Tim and Gillian showed their appreciation to the Rock players.

And the Rock players showed their appreciation to their fans.
