Toronto Rock 11, Colorado Mammouth 14, Air Canada Centre, Toronto, ON

Gord and I are season ticket holders for the Toronto Rock lacrosse team games ... the Rock is a professional lacrosse franchise in the National Lacrosse League (NLL).  This is our fifth year going to the games and our fourth year having seasons tickets.

The Rock were playing the Colorado Mammouth.

Former Rock captain Colin Doyle's number was retired last week.

Because it was St. Patrick's Day, there was a traditional Irish band.

Scotty Newlands sang the national anthems.

And the game began ....

Here is the view from our seats ...

Tim and Gillian, season's ticket holders who sit in front of us, were happy when Toronto got their first goal.

The red wigged guys were there.

At the end of the first quarter, Colorado was leading 4 - 2.

The Rock Cheerleaders entertained in the second quarter.

The goalie's equipment was measured.  It's been a while since they've done this.

The score at the end of the second quarter was  8 - 7 for Colorado.

There were young Irish dancers during the intermission.

Iggy is the Rock mascot.  I think this was a fake Iggy as he wasn't working the crowd as he usual does and didn't seem as boisterous as usual.

The Rock players huddled to get psyched at the beginning of the third quarter.

At the end of the third quarter, Colorado was winning 10 - 9.

My pal, Trish, was also at the game and I visited with her and her friends, Alissa and Glen.  They were a couple sections over.

Because I was chatting with Trish, I missed the 50/50 numbers (the prize was almost $7,000) so the guy in front of us let me take a picture of the winning number.

Alas, we didn't win.

Trish was in the second row and here's the view from her seat.  She was right down by the action.

The Rock lost 14 - 11.

Tim and Gillian showed their appreciation for the Rock.

The players shook hands.
