Best Western Plus Waterfront Hotel, Windsor, ON

I spent last night at the Best Western Plus Waterfront Hotel in Windsor, which is next to the Detroit River and across the way from Detroit.

The lobby

Here was my room ...

The king bed was comfy

Here was my view from the 22nd floor ...

About 5pm
About 10pm
About 5pm

The room was $138.40 (before fees/taxes) ... that was the CAA/AAA rate.  There was a mini fridge, coffee maker, etc. in my room.  WIFI was complimentary ... sometimes it wasn't overly speedy.  A hot buffet breakfast was also complimentary.  The breakfast room is quite large and there was a good variety of things to eat (bacon, eggs, sausages, fruit, yogurt, waffles, pastries, etc.).  Parking was $12 a night for self-parking and the lot is a block away.

There is a small business centre in the lobby and a small area to buy chips, snacks, etc.  There is a fitness centre and pool in the hotel but I didn't get a chance to check them out.

The hotel is handy for walking around.  There is a long boardwalk across the street along the river, though it's currently being repaired so you can't get too close to river.  There are lots of restaurants nearby and the casino is a couple blocks away.
