Mosaic, Blue Mountains, ON

Gord and I spent the weekend at Mosaic in Blue Mountain Village.

There was a fitness room along with outdoor heated pool and hot tub (which are open from 7am to 11pm).  The pools were the reason we stayed here and we checked them out Friday night and yesterday afternoon.  Though heated, the pool was too chilly for us but kids didn't seem to mind.  The hot tub was hot hot hot!  There were bathrobes in our suite so we could wear them to the pools.  There are towels in the fitness room to use at the pools.

We had a one bedroom suite with a fireplace.

The kitchen was stocked with dishes, glasses, cutlery, etc.
There was a coffee maker (and supplies), fridge, microwave,
toaster, burners, etc.  We ate our meals out every day but could have
cooked our meals in our suite had if we wanted.
The bed was comfy!
I love baths and this soaker was long and deep!

Our balcony overlooked the heated pool and hot tub.

The Mosaic is in the heart of the village, walkable to everything ... restaurants, shopping, hiking and more.  They have 163 suites ranging from bachelors to three-bedrooms.  Nearby outdoor parking is free but we went with heated indoor parking under the hotel for $15/night (though, we didn't move the car once we arrived Friday afternoon).  WIFI was free in the lobby or $10 in the rooms per night for three devices or $18 for three nights.  The staff was really friendly and helpful.  It's family-friendly and there were a lot of kids.  The kids were noisy (running up and down the halls and yelling) but it was quiet after about 10pm.

The iwa Spa is attached to the hotel.  Yesterday we did a restorative yoga class in their warmed Gan•ban volcanic rock studio (you get the added benefits of cleansing, pain relief, deeper easier movement and incredible stress reduction).   Brad was great!  This morning we had massages.  I had a relaxation massage with Alexandra (I chose an energetic blend) and Gord had a hot stone massage.  Both were nice.

It's been a really nice weekend here and I'd stay at this hotel again.
