I ended up with a one bedroom suite, which was great considering I spent four nights there ... I appreciated having lots of space rather than being cooped up in one room.
The heaters were pretty good but there was a really cold breeze coming in under them |
The king bed was comfy! |
The bathroom was huge |
I loved the tub and used it every night ... it was deep and comfy! I'll miss it! |
The hotel is downtown so close to restaurants, shopping, the Winnipeg Jets hockey arena (next door), the Forks, etc. There is a Starbucks on the lobby floor and a restaurant on the 12th floor (I didn't check out either).
A newspaper was delivered to my door every day. My room had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc. There are laundry facilities and a fitness centre on the 13th (aka "T") floor. I used the treadmill in the fitness centre a couple nights and it was okay.
Self-parking, which is what I did, was $15/night and valet parking was $20/night. The parking building is attached to the hotel.
WIFI is complimentary. I found it spotty and inconsistent. Sometimes it was speedy (in the mornings) and other times it was non-existent (in the evenings), which was annoying (it made it hard to get work done).
The water pressure in the shower and bathtub were amazing!
Jill AnnMarie checked me in on Sunday afternoon and she was very helpful.
