Knitted afghan

I finished knitting Gord an afghan tonight.  I used just over four balls of Ocean Shades Blanket Yarn By Bernat.

Cast on 4 stitches using 8.5mm needles (I used circular).

Knit 2, YO, Knit to end.

Turn work.

Turn work.

Keep doing this over and over and over and over and over until there are 165 stitches.

Knit 1, K2tog, YO, K1, K2tog, knit to end.

Cast off the final 4 stitches.

The final product weighed almost three pounds and was about 4.5 feet by 4.5 feet.  It's really soft and warm.  If you want it bigger, keeping adding stitches before you start the decreasing rows.

Yet another beautiful yarn project. Have you considered posting a how to to YouTube? I think people could learn a lot from watching you demonstrate this. I know they were likely many how to’s already there but quite frankly I think yours would be better. I might actually try one of these for one of your potholders if I could follow along with you on screen
