Tonight was the last home game the Rock were playing Rochester Knighthawks. Toronto and Rochester are both in the eastern division and all the teams are battling for a playoff spot, with just a few games left in the season. Going into tonight's game, Rochester was tied for first place with 8 wins/7 losses and Toronto was tied for second place with 7 wins/8 losses.
There was a moment of the silence to remember the Humboldt Broncos.
Scotty Newlands sang the American national anthem.
A choir/band from Upper Canada College did the Canadian national anthem.
The Rock players huddled just before the game started.
And the game began ...
Tim and Gillian, season's ticket holders who sit in front of us, were happy when Toronto got their first goal.

As usual, the red-wigged guys sat across the way, though tonight there was one more than usual.
At the end of the first quarter, the Rock was winning 5 - 3 ... yay!

The Rock Cheerleaders entertained in the second quarter.
Bellosound provided the music during the game.
At the end of the second quarter, the Rock were still winning ... 8 - 6.
The Rock Cheerleaders entertained again.
By the end of the third quarter, Rochester had caught up and the score was 10 - 10.
Iggy, the Rock mascot, tried to get the crowd going by starting the wave ... he wasn't successful.
The prize for the 50/50 draw was almost $7,700!
Alas, we didn't win.
The attendance for tonight's game was almost 11,500.
Despite the loss, Tim and Gillian showed their appreciation.
The players shook hands.
The Rock players thanked the fans for coming out.
The Rock players were going to sign autographs after the game and fans lined up (the line was long!).
Unless something drastic changes in the next couple of weeks, tonight was the last time we'll see the Rock until next season.
