Toronto Wolfpack 64, Dewsbury Rams 12, Lamport Stadium, Toronto, ON

The Toronto Wolfpack RLFC is a Canadian professional rugby league club, based in here Toronto, which competes in the British Rugby Football League system.  In 2018 the club is competing in the Championship, having begun to play in 2017 in League 1 and won a promotion in its inaugural season.  The club is noted as being the first North American team to play in the Rugby Football League system, the first fully professional rugby league team in Canada and the world's first transatlantic rugby league team.  Their home stadium is Lamport Stadium (aka "The Den"), which is just a couple blocks from where we live.

The Wolfpack were in first place and the Rams were in ninth place heading into this game.

Here are the Wolfpack Cheerleaders.

Here are me and Gord before the game began.  We sat on the west side of the stadium (we usually sit on the east side).

God Save the Queen and O Canada were sung before the game.

 And the game began ...

It seemed like most people sat on the west side of the stadium this week.

The Wolfpack cheering section was loud and enthusiastic, as usual.

At the end of the first half, the Wolfpack were winning 40 - 6.  Yay!

Jefferson, the Wolfpack's new mascot, entertained during the intermission.

And then the second half began ...

The Wolfpack won 64 - 12.  Yippee!

The players hugged it out after the game.

Wolfpack head coach Paul Rowley was interviewed after the game.

The players are great with their fans, hanging out after the game, taking pictures and signing teeshirts, etc.

The beer garden is a popular spot after the game
Cam and the Lost Craft group
