In university, I had to take a full-term Shakespeare course and I didn't really enjoy it. This is the first time either of us have seen a Shakespeare play.

The theatre is outside and can hold up to 1,000 people ... it was crowded, which was good to see. We had ordered reserved seats ($25) online, which meant we could sit on a yellow pillow in the "stands' rather than no pillow. There were a couple reserved chairs in the back released at 7:45pm and let us have them. Yay!
It was a modernized version but the characters spoke Shakespeare's words as he had written them with some 2018 asides and attitudes. Though I didn't understand a lot of what was being said and I was getting eaten by bugs (it was hot and humid), I enjoyed it. The actors did an excellent job and they used the stage creatively. It was amusing and sad.
